BIG TIMBER REMBRANDT'S ARCHETYPE

We are so pleased to have Crescent Moon's Mahela in our elite huacaya foundation female herd. This female's genetics speak for themselves: 6P Accoyo Elite on the top and bottom side with the famous 4P Legacy. Generational champion genetics combined to create Mahela, with her super soft fleece on a feminine frame. Mahela has top ranked EPDS in her fiber traits expressed in a very fine, uniform, dense fleece. She has passed these strong traits to her offspring, who have placed in the top three in all their very competitive classes, thus far. Mahela was biopsied as a four-year-old female. Her density is 59.75 and her S/P ratio is 12.6 to 1. Only 25% of her secondary fibers how a degree of medullation. Her average secondary fibers measured 20.9 while her primary fibers averaged 31.4 for a micron spread of 10.5. Her biopsy AFD figures 22.16 micron. Mahela is in the top 1% in the 2024 EPDs. In June 2018, Mahela had a beautiful fawn female cria sired by Crescent Moon's Augustine. This girl is gorgeous. She sold at the 2019 CABA Classic auction and then went on to win Color Champion as a juvenile at the show for her new owner, Stoneberg Alpacas. We bred Mahela in 2018 to the stunning Snowmass Everlasting Highlander XX who is now sold out of the US. Her stunning cria from this breeding is Big Timber Highlander's Trekk who is an up and coming herdsire. We love the fineness and uniformity of his fleece along with his structured, dense staple. In June 2021, Mahela gave birth to a handsome male sired by FDA Rembrandt by El Nino. He is a strong, masculine boy covered with soft, crimpy white fleece so uniform even down his legs and belly. Everything we hoped for out of this genetic combination. She did it again! In July 2022, Mahela had another stunning Rembrandt male. This big boy is full of crimpy fleece from head to toe. We chose to breed Mahela to Pacaparadise's Amerikan Hero in 2024. Can't wait to see the results!!
